After the initial presentation of our idea, which i failed to make it to, our tutors expressed that they felt our target audience was too narrow and the design theme using sheep was too confusing; points were raised towards the idea the the theme of the sculptures needing to be brought more into designs and our presentation felt unorganised due to lack of planning; these will both be things to work on for Fridays presentation.
As for a new target audience, speaking for myself, I am confused as to what makes a suitable target audience as initially we were told to be specific with our audience but Art Students is too specific, combined with being told that the park wants to target young people but at our presentation being informed that students had already been targeted and therefore were not suitable. I feel that I should blame my confusion on this one, unfortunate, absence.
It is my understanding that the whole group feels we should continue to target a child audience, we are possibly however, going to begin on some product designs before we specify exactly who we are going to target - using the designs we create as a guide to who we feel we could best reach out to.
